A house is reviled by a wrathful phantom that fates the individuals who enter it with a savage demise.

Grudge is an up and coming American otherworldly mental blood and gore movie composed and coordinated by Nicolas Pesce, co-composed by Jeff Buhler, and delivered by Sam Raimi, through its Ghost House Pictures pennant, Robert Tapert, and Takashige Ichise. It will be a reboot of The Grudge American film arrangement, in light of the first Japanese establishment. The film stars Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bichir, John Cho, Lin Shaye, Betty Gilpin, and Jacki Weaver.

In 2011, a continuation was declared, with a discharge date for 2013 or 2014. By March 2014, it was formally reported that a reboot of the establishment was underway, with Buhler set to compose the content. By July 2017, The Eyes of My Mother movie producer Nicolas Pesce was contracted for reworks, in light of Buhler's content, and to coordinate the film. Main photography on the film started in May 7, 2018, in Winnipeg, Manitoba and completed on June 23, 2018.

Sony Pictures Entertainment intends to discharge the film on January 3, 2020.
